VI Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan

September 20-21, 2018, in the city of Astana, in the Congress Center EXPO, the VI Forum of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan was held. The representative of «Kazenergokabel» JSC was represented by the deputy head of the contract department – Shatskikh Sergey.

The Forum was organized by the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan «Atameken». The main topics of the forum, in 2018, were new development opportunities in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution. On the first day of the Forum, sectional meetings were held on the following topics: oil and gas engineering, automotive, electrical engineering, railway engineering, defense and electronic engineering. The second day was devoted to an extended plenary session. In the course of the sectional sessions, the participants developed practical recommendations for the further development of domestic engineering, enhancing competitiveness and incorporation into global value chains.

The Forum was attended by at least 1000 delegates, heads of leading Kazakhstan and foreign machine-building enterprises, representatives of central government agencies, the quasi-public sector, development institutions, business associations and large consumers of engineering products. Within the framework of the Forum, the «project of the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of the Machine-Building Industry of Kazakhstan for 2019-2030» was presented, which will become a strategic vision for the development of the industry for the medium term.
